Julie Segall, Lic.Ac., Dipl.C.H.
Healing Ground Founder and Director Julie Segall treats the whole individual in her private practice and specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a licensed Acupuncturist (Lic.Ac.) and has received a Diplomate in Chinese Herbology (Dipl. C.H.) from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Barbara Volpe, L.Ac, M.S.O.M
Barbara is a licensed acupuncturist with a graduate degree in Oriental Medicine. She received her training at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and completed advanced coursework at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Nationally certified by the NCCAOM, Barbara is a member of the Illinois State Acupuncture Association and the American Association of Oriental Medicine. She uses all aspects of Chinese medicine to treat the full range of health imbalances, including infertility. Additionally, she provides pregnancy support.
Stephen Bonzak, L.Ac.
After completing his undergraduate degree at Cornell University, Stephen attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where he received a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Licensed as an acupuncturist in Illinois, he has been further qualified by the NCCAOM in the practice of both acupuncture and herbal medicine. In addition to his practice, he is a faculty member in the Department of Herbal Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and pursues research on acupuncture with Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
